Contact Making Seminar
The aim of our project was to empower youth workers and professionals from youth organisations from different EU countries to work together in planning, applying and implementing new types of projects available under the new E+ programme such as: youth participation activities, KA2 – Small Collaborative Partnerships, ESC volunteering and solidarity projects.
Our activity was organised within the context of the Youth Accreditation for 2021 and was designed to contribute to objectives 2 and 4 of our accreditation application.
O1. 21 youth workers and staff equipped with the knowhow, attitudes and aptitudes necessary to apply and implement new E+ and ESC projects;
O2. New KA1 projects, KA2 SCP projects and ESC projects applications were planned to be applied to the next deadlines;
O3. Increased quality of collaboration within the consortium partners by reaching a common understanding of the functionality of E+.
The main result of this CMS represents the empowerment of 21 youth workers with the know-how, attitudes and aptitudes necessary to collaborate with various international partners in drafting and implementing E+ and ESC projects.
An important output of the activity are the plans for the applications that will be submitted to the next deadlines as a result of this CMS: Minimum 2 KA1, 1 KA2–SCP and 1 ESC applications.
Additionally, a positive result of the CMS is that the consortium organisations will be able to collaborate on other E+ projects and have a common approach towards the inclusion of the participants facing fewer opportunities.
Last but not least, this CMS contributed to the quality of international youth work.
Participants:
The 21 youth workers and staff are capacitated with the know-how, attitudes and aptitudes necessary to plan and successfully implement the new types of E+ and ESC projects. They are better professionals and are able to provide more international activities to the youth they are working with.
Consortium organisations:
Are the main beneficiaries of this CMS since they directly benefited from becoming partners or applicants of the new types of E+ and ESC projects and have more information on how to provide a wider area of international activities to their target audience: the youth.
Youth:
The target group of the consortium members is represented by young people and young people facing fewer opportunities. By empowering the organisations, their staff and youth workers to make full use of the new opportunities of E+ and ESC we are creating more international nonformal learning contexts for the young people who are affiliated to our partners’ organisaitons.
