As a proud partner of this initiative, Ingens Risus played a key role in the exchange, bringing eight Romanian participants to engage in this transformative experience.
Over the course of a week, participants embarked on a journey of self-discovery, cultural exchange, and empowerment. With plenty of laughter, learning, and unexpected moments along the way, they didn’t just gain new insights—they built lasting friendships that transcended borders and left with a renewed drive to make a difference.
Picture a space where young people from every corner of Europe unite, break down walls of misunderstanding, and create a world where every perspective is heard. That vision came to life in Cegléd, Hungary, from March 3th to 13th, through the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Equal Voices, Equal Choices.”
This wasn’t your ordinary exchange. It was a vibrant crossroads of cultures and ideas—a place where workshops sparked curiosity, discussions questioned stereotypes, and creative activities celebrated diversity.
Participants didn’t just learn about inclusion—they experienced it firsthand. Along the way, they built friendships without borders, discovered new sides of themselves, and left energized to make a real difference in their communities.
What does true inclusion look like in everyday life? That question sparked powerful conversations during one of the standout workshops at “Equal Voices, Equal Choices.” In this interactive session, participants dug deep into the real obstacles young people face when striving to belong.
They examined discrimination, harmful stereotypes, economic and social hurdles, mental health stigma, accessibility issues, and even the impact of online bullying. Through spirited dialogue, personal testimonies, and collaborative problem-solving, teams mapped out both the challenges and the solutions. The atmosphere buzzed with creativity as ideas turned into action plans and young leaders discovered their strength to drive change.
This youth exchange was packed with energy, ideas, and collaboration—and we’re proud to have been part of it alongside amazing partners. Our friends at E29 have shared their own take on the experience in a great blog post.
