Inside the Hub was a vibrant series of events hosted at the ASEY Network Youth Center, created to open minds, build empathy, and celebrate the beauty of diversity within our community.
Through interactive workshops, creative discussions, and collaborative activities, young people came together to explore what inclusion truly means — not just as a concept, but as a way of living and connecting.
Because when we meet inside the hub, we build bridges beyond it.
Throughout the series, participants took part in engaging workshops and creative sessions designed to spark dialogue and connection.
Each event encouraged young people to:
Reflect on what inclusion means in their daily lives.
Express themselves through art, dialogue, and teamwork.
Challenge stereotypes and build respectful communication.
Experience intercultural learning through stories and shared moments.
The Hub became a safe, colorful environment where everyone could contribute, learn, and grow together.

“Inside the Hub” turned ideas into experiences and experiences into impact — proving that inclusion begins with participation.

Participants: 16 young people
The first edition of Inside the Hub brought together 16 young people for a day of connection, creativity, and discovery. The event opened with a warm presentation about Ingens Risus, our activities, and our journey within the Erasmus+ framework — setting the stage for a day focused on inclusion, diversity, and belonging.
We started by breaking the ice and getting to know one another, opening up conversations about inclusion and diversity — topics that can sometimes feel abstract until shared through real experiences.
Together, we explored what these values mean in our daily lives and how we can practice them in our communities.
To go deeper, we played Dixit, a storytelling card game filled with imagination and symbolism. Each player shared thoughts and emotions inspired by the cards, revealing how differently we perceive the same image — just like how diversity shapes our world.
Through laughter and reflection, Dixit helped us understand that every perspective carries its own truth, and listening to others can open new ways of seeing and feeling.
Next came a playful and thought-provoking drawing activity that turned creativity into a tool for inclusion.
Participants were challenged to redesign simple everyday objects — like a chair, backpack, or umbrella — but with a unique twist:
for different people, situations, or even imaginary users,
and with a fun rule that pushed imagination even further.
Some designed umbrellas for pirates, phones for grandmas, or sneakers that sing when you walk — sparking conversations about accessibility, empathy, and thinking beyond our own experiences.
This activity showed how inclusion can be both imaginative and practical — when we design with everyone in mind, we make the world more welcoming for all.
We closed the day with a relaxed reflection circle, where participants shared how they experienced the activities and what inclusion and diversity mean to them now. The conversation highlighted one simple truth:

The second edition of Inside the Hub welcomed a new group of 10 young people, each bringing their own energy, stories, and perspectives. Hosted once again at the ASEY Youth Center, this follow-up event continued our journey toward inclusion and diversity — this time focusing on communication, empathy, and teamwork as the foundation of connection.
The session began with a warm introduction and group interaction that helped everyone feel at ease in the Hub’s inclusive atmosphere.
Although the participants were new to the series, they quickly connected through shared reflections on what inclusion means and why it matters in their schools, communities, and everyday lives.
In small Inclusion Circles, participants exchanged ideas and personal stories, exploring how communication can either divide or unite us.
These heartfelt discussions revealed how active listening, respect, and empathy are key elements in creating truly inclusive environments.
Every voice matters — when we take time to listen, understanding begins to grow.
To put these ideas into practice, participants took part in a creative team challenge called “The Puzzle of Inclusion and Diversity.”
Each person designed a unique puzzle piece representing their vision of diversity — through colors, words, and symbols.
When assembled, the pieces formed a large, colorful puzzle symbolizing that inclusion is built when individual differences connect to form a shared whole.
The final artwork reflected unity, cooperation, and the beauty of seeing every voice as part of something bigger.
Just like in our community — every piece matters.
The day concluded with a group reflection, where participants shared what they discovered about inclusion and how they can bring those values into their daily lives.
For many, the experience was a reminder that change begins with awareness — and grows through small, consistent acts of kindness and openness.
Both events left a strong mark on the local community, showing how creative spaces and dialogue can build lasting bridges between people.
Together, they helped participants not only learn about inclusion — but live it.
Inside the Hub continues to grow as a living space for connection, understanding, and positive change.
Inside the Hub empowered young people to take what they learned beyond the youth center and into their schools, communities, and projects.
