Cult Walk was an engaging outdoor event organized by Ingens Risus, bringing together 6 young people for a journey through culture, history, and community connection.
The goal of the activity was to explore the city’s cultural landmarks while reflecting on diversity, inclusion, and shared identity in a relaxed, interactive way.
As the group walked through the streets of Miercurea Ciuc, participants discovered local stories, traditions, and symbols that shape the identity of the community.
Guided by volunteers, each stop on the route became a moment of learning — from historical monuments to hidden cultural corners that reflect the city’s multicultural character.
Along the way, participants discussed how cultural diversity influences the way we live together and how understanding local heritage can strengthen inclusion and belonging.
Every step was a bridge between past and present, between people and their stories.
To make the walk more dynamic, the participants took part in interactive challenges at each stop — answering questions, sharing thoughts, or completing small team tasks that encouraged collaboration and observation.
These playful elements sparked conversation and laughter, while also helping participants see how culture and inclusion are deeply connected.
At the end of the walk, everyone gathered for a short reflection session in a local park. Together, they discussed what they had learned — not just about the city’s culture, but about each other.
The activity created space for genuine connections, where participants realized that inclusion often begins by being curious about others’ stories and appreciating the diversity around us.
Through Cult Walk, we didn’t just explore our city — we discovered our community.
